Long before any of us were around (i.e. the 16th century), the word “junket” was used to refer to any sort of sweet treat. It then broadened to mean “feast” or “banquet," shifting further to refer to various outings and get-togethers, and eventually found its way to our current less interesting and far less inclusive meaning. But I much prefer the original sentiment and hope to evoke that centuries old meaning here.
What is Junket?
Hi there! My name is Allison White and I am a recipe developer and food writer based in Los Angeles. Whether you’ve never baked a single thing your whole life or have the burns to prove your status, I want to help you figure out what to bake (and cook!) in the kitchen. And, most importantly, have fun and share that fun with others along the way.
